• 1. General Hours of Operation

    The South Austin Tennis Center operates year-round with seasonal hours:

    • March 15 – October 15: 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM (7 days a week)

    • October 16 – March 14: 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM (7 days a week)

    The facility is closed on posted holidays. Any changes to operating hours due to weather, maintenance, or special events will be communicated in advance on our website and at the front desk. We reserve the right to start programming earlier than posted hours with approval from the City Contract Manager.

    2. Court Reservations

    • Court reservations may be made online, by phone, or in-person.

    • Reservations open two (2) days in advance at 8:45 AM.

    • Players are encouraged to book early, as court availability is limited during peak hours.

    • A valid account in good standing is required to make online reservations.

    3. Clinic Reservations

    • Clinic reservations may be made online, by phone, or in-person.

    • Registration for clinics opens seven (7) days in advance at 8:45 AM.

    • Spots in clinics are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

    • Players may unregister for clinics and receive a full refund up to 24 hours before the clinic start time.

    • If a player unregisters within 24 hours, they will not be charged if we are able to fill their spot.

    • If we cancel a clinic within 24 hours and it's unrelated to weather, we will issue a full refund and provide a free ball machine rental.

    • If we cancel a clinic within 4 hours of the scheduled start and it's unrelated to weather, we will issue a full refund and provide a free clinic credit.

    • Clinics that are cancelled due to weather will have notice sent out no later than 30 minutes prior to the clinic start time.

    3.  Private Lessons

    • Private lessons may be reserved online, by phone, or in-person.

    • Private lessons must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance to receive a full refund. Within 24 hours, refunds will only be issued if the slot is filled.

    • If we cancel a private lesson within 24 hours and it's unrelated to weather, we will issue a full refund and provide a free ball machine rental.

    • If we cancel a private lesson within 4 hours of the scheduled start and it's unrelated to weather, we will issue a free clinic credit.

    • Private lessons that are cancelled due to weather will have notice sent out no later than 30 minutes prior to the clinic start time.

  • All guests, players, and program participants at the South Austin Tennis Center are expected to uphold a respectful, inclusive, and safe environment at all times. The following guidelines apply to all individuals on site:

    • Treat all staff, coaches, and fellow patrons with respect.

    • Use respectful language. Profanity, verbal abuse, unsolicited coaching, or language that could reasonably be considered offensive is prohibited.

    • Abide by city, facility, and program rules, regulations, and guidelines.

    • Discriminatory, harassing, or threatening behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.

    • Players must wear appropriate athletic attire and non-marking tennis shoes on court.

    • Observe proper court etiquette and allow others to enjoy their scheduled time.

    • No physical altercations or intimidation tactics will be allowed.

    • Do not intentionally cause damage to facility equipment or fixtures.

    • Follow staff instructions promptly and respectfully at all times.

    • Glass containers within the facility are prohibited.

    Consequences of Violations:

    • First violation: Verbal or written warning, or dismissal from the facility depending on the severity

    • Second violation: Two-week suspension from RallyHaus programming

    • Third violation: One-month suspension from RallyHaus programming

    • Fourth violation: Consideration of permanent suspension from RallyHaus programming

    We take harassment very seriously. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited and subject to immediate action:

    • Harassment, including repeated unwanted attention, sexual comments, intimidation, or verbal abuse

    • Stalking, threats, or physical harassment

    • Unwanted gifts or written communication, including messages of a personal, romantic, or intrusive nature

    • Sexual advances or requests for favors

    • Any behavior that discriminates based on race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, gender identity, and sexual orientation), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other protected class under federal, state, or local law

    • Retaliation against individuals who report harassment or misconduct

    Consequences of Harassment Violations:

    • Any illegal behavior will be reported to the appropriate authorities immediately. The individual will be suspended from RallyHaus programming pending investigation. This supersedes all other disciplinary procedures.

    • First violation: One-month suspension from RallyHaus programming

    • Second violation: Consideration of permanent suspension from RallyHaus programming

    Reporting Misconduct:

    Misconduct can be reported using the "Report an Incident" form on this page. Reports may be submitted anonymously, though providing contact information allows for follow-up and resolution. All reports and subsequent investigations are confidential and shared only with RallyHaus and City of Austin employees involved in the investigation. Retaliation against individuals who make good-faith reports is strictly prohibited and grounds for further disciplinary action.

    Appeals:

    Appeals must be submitted within 7 days of a suspension using the "Appeals" form on this page. Appeals should include a clear rationale, any supporting evidence, and your requested resolution. Appeals will be jointly reviewed by RallyHaus management and the City of Austin, and a final decision will be issued within 7 business days, subject to City availability. All appeal communications are confidential. Decisions are final and will be delivered by email.

  • 1. Eligibility

    • All participants must have a valid user account in good standing to register for any program.

    • Programs may have age, skill level, or eligibility requirements that will be clearly stated in the program description.

    • Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver and emergency contact form prior to participation.

    2. Registration

    • Registration for clinics, camps, and other programs may be completed online, by phone, or in person.

    • Registration opens on a rolling basis according to the schedule posted on our website.

    • Payment is due at the time of registration to secure a spot.

    3. Attendance and Conduct

    • Participants are expected to arrive on time, dressed appropriately, and ready to participate.

    • Failure to attend without prior notice will result in forfeiture of payment.

    • Disruptive or disrespectful behavior during a program may result in immediate removal without refund.

    4. Cancellations and Makeups

    • Participants may cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund or credit.

    • Within 24 hours, no refund will be given unless the spot is filled.

    • Make-up sessions are not guaranteed and are subject to coach availability and program capacity.

    • If a program is canceled by staff due to weather, safety, or staffing issues, a full refund or credit will be offered.

    5. Safety and Supervision

    • All programs are supervised by staff who are background-checked, SafeSport certified, and CRP/AED/First Aid certified.

    • Emergency protocols and first aid procedures are in place and followed by staff at all times.

    6. Media and Photos

    • By registering for a program, participants grant permission for RallyHaus and the City of Austin to use photographs and video taken during programs for promotional purposes, unless a written opt-out is provided in advance.

  • 1. Merchandise Sales

    • The pro shop offers tennis racquets, strings, grips, apparel, accessories, and other tennis-related goods.

    • Returns of exchanges may be permitted within 7 days for unused merchandise in original packaging with a valid receipt.

    • We'd be happy to special order any products from our suppliers, just ask any of our pro shop staff!

    2. Stringing Services

    • We offer professional stringing services with a range of string options.

    • Customers must clearly communicate desired string type and tension at the time of drop-off, or verify what we have on file for them.

    • Standard turnaround time is 24–48 hours depending on volume. Expedited service may be available for an additional fee.

    3. Payment and Pick-Up

    • Full payment is required at the time of drop-off for all stringing services.

    • Customers will be notified via email or text when their racquet is ready for pick-up.

    • Racquets not picked up within 30 days may incur a storage fee or be considered abandoned.

    4. Stringing Guarantee

    • If a string breaks within 7 days due to a clear stringing error or defect, we will re-string the racquet free of charge.

    • The following are examples of stringing errors or defects:

      • Missed or skipped string pattern (e.g., main or cross strings out of alignment)

      • Mis-weaved string (string incorrectly crosses over/under and causes tension inconsistency)

      • Improper tie-off knots that come undone or slip prematurely

      • Damaged grommets caused during stringing (if not previously damaged)

      • String not clamped properly during installation, leading to immediate or localized breakage

      • String visibly fraying or unraveling at or near a knot or shared hole, not due to hitting

    • Tension preference or premature breakage from play is not covered under this guarantee.

    • Photos of your racquet at drop-off and pick-up will be taken and stored for 7 days to protect you and RallyHaus. If we damage your racquet, we'll replace it with an equal model or provide a credit if we don't have an equivalent replacement.

  • Release of Liability

    By participating in any program, activity, or event at the South Austin Tennis Center, or by entering the premises, all players, guardians, and guests agree to release and hold harmless RallyHaus, the City of Austin, its employees, agents, affiliates, and contractors from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained while on the premises or participating in programming, regardless of whether such loss is caused by negligence.

    1. Assumption of Risk

    • All players and guests acknowledge that tennis and other recreational activities carry inherent risks of injury, and participation is voluntary.

    2. Injuries and Medical Emergencies

    • Any injuries must be reported to staff immediately.

    • In the event of a medical emergency, staff will contact emergency services and notify emergency contacts as listed in the participant's account.

    • First aid supplies are available on site and may be administered by trained staff when appropriate.

    3. Supervision of Minors

    • Children under the age of 10 must be supervised by a parent or guardian unless actively participating in a program.

    • Youth participants must be signed in and out of applicable programs by an approved adult.

    4. Weather and Environmental Conditions

    • Play may be suspended due to lightning, rain, extreme heat, or other hazardous conditions.

    • Refunds or credits will be provided if sessions are canceled due to unsafe conditions.

    5. Facility Hazards

    • Players are responsible for inspecting courts and facilities before play and reporting any hazards to staff.

    • RallyHaus reserves the right to close courts or restrict access to any part of the facility for safety reasons.

    6. Lost or Stolen Property

    • RallyHaus is not responsible for lost, stolen, or unattended personal items.

    • Found items will be held at the front desk for up to 14 days before donation or disposal.

  • 1. Pets on Premises

    • Leashed pets are allowed in outdoor common areas but are not permitted on court surfaces at any time.

    • Owners must clean up after their pets and ensure they do not disrupt play or other guests.

    • Aggressive or disruptive pets may result in the guest being asked to leave the facility.

    • Service animals are welcome in all areas, in accordance with ADA guidelines.

    2. Food and Beverage

    • Guests may not bring alcoholic beverages on court.

    • Trash and recyclables must be disposed of in appropriate bins.

    • Outside catering or group meals must be pre-approved by RallyHaus management.

    3. Alcohol Policy

    • Special events seeking to serve alcohol must submit a written request to RallyHaus leadership in advance and comply with all relevant permitting and insurance requirements.

    These policies are in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests. Thank you for your cooperation.
